Viaje Western Pangasinan | Buy Your Pasalubong

Day 3 - June 4, 2011 | Souvenirs and Pasalubong

Our bodies were aching badly from the snorkeling activity we did yesterday. However, we can't let these body pains conquer us, it's our last day in Pangasinan and we still have to buy souvenirs and pasalubong.

Souvenir Shops in Lucap Wharf

We had our breakfast at Lucap wharf (breakfast, lunch, dinner.. throughout our stay in Alaminos, sa Lucap wharf lang kami kumain).

By 8:45 am, we started shopping for souvenirs at Lucap Wharf. Souvenir shirts, ref magnets, key chains, shell crafts, hats and purses, and many more. Souvenir shirts ranges from 100 to 250, depending on the size. I'm not surprised that the shirt I bought is at kiddie size. We spent an hour burning money on the shops.

What Else to Buy in Pangasinan

Around 11:00 am, as we leave our transient house, I saw people drying fishes under the sun. They're selling the sun dried fish for P10 only (gusto ko sana bumili kaya lang peak ng fish kill sa Pangasinan nung mga panahon na iyon).
andaming bangus, each costs P10
Pangasinan is also famous for its tupig, and sun dried fishes. So when our tricycle arrived, I told him to bring us first to Alaminos public market and there, I bought tupig, Alaminos longanisa and dangit.

When we're done buying our pasalubong, we headed to Victory Liner's terminal which is walkable from the market. Our bus to Cubao left at 1 pm.

End of Bolinao-Alaminos trip.
